I'm assuming this also works with unlimited family plan messaging.
One would hope so. :)

Until the FT reverses route, the ONLY rational response is to either not buy the FT at all (there are competitors out there) or buy it at a news stand.
Where has been the outcry during the last 50 years during newspapers have used this for their subscribers?
So, the moment somebody offers a newspaper subscription that asks the user via a non-modal interface whether to share its data, you decide which newspaper you prefer on this basis. And if somebody had offered a newspaper which by default does not use your data (ie, requires you to check a box instead of unchecking) in the past you would have immediately switched to that newspaper?
Except that you naturally didn't do any of that (despite also naturally there being newspapers which by default do not use your data, eg, currently the The Economist).
All this grandstanding, just at the opportunity to use some strong words.

Nice app that (in my experience) flawlessly finds missing info on any song in your iTunes directory including artist, album, genre, track number, album art, etc. Even if you don't pay and have the program do your work for you (3 at a time without license) it's still a LOT faster than finding all the information accurately yourself.
A license is $20 USD.

Can Apple really stop TJ Maxx from selling their iPads?
I thought the Authorised Reseller Programme was just that: an "Apple-certified" or "Apple-approved" reseller? Surely any reseller who doesn't have this "sign of approval" still can sell the iPad?
I don't really know the answer to that since every store which I've seen here in the UK which sells Apple products are authorised resellers.
Sorry if it's obvious, it's just that the response makes it sound like only retailers approved by Apple can sell their products; sort of like a cease and desist threat.

rdowns - let me give a +1 on your comment. Our MR forums community is getting more and more clogged up with this mindless babble / garbage. It really detracts from the value of the forums.
Thank you.
There is more misinformation and lies posted here than ever before. And way too many people believe anything they see "published on the Internet".

Offline maps would take away income from the Cellular Providers. Also, putting a GPS in the Touch would take away from iPhone sales.
Both won't happen...
Offline vector based maps are the norm for Nokia handsets that support Ovi Maps including all their Symbian handsets, some S40 featurephones and forthcoming Windows Phones. You can download entire countries to your phone which is great for using abroad with no data contract needed. Ovi Maps on Symbian^3 is leagues ahead of Google Maps on any platform.
IIRC part of the deal with Microsoft is to supplant Bing with Ovi Maps although that might just be on Nokia branded Windows Phones.

Err, nope. No country is on 1st August yet.
Japan is the earliest to be on 1st Aug, but at this time of my writing, it's still 8:24 pm (31 July) in Japan.
Obviously OP wants the attention of being the thread starter.

Part of that is due to engine choices in the US: because many of the engines used by foreign car companies are not federalized, and because US carmakers largley ignore the small car market, we don't get the most efficient engines for small cars.
Case in point: look at small cars sold in both Europe and the US, like the Mini Cooper, Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus (different version, but same-ish size) or event the Smart. All of these cars come with smaller, more efficient engines in Europe, either as the base engine or as options. The US versions, however, all use larger, less efficient engines and omit the diesel options entirely. Thus, much of potential efficiency of these cars is wasted.
Therefore, it's not that the Altima is much more efficient than the Versa. Rather, the most efficient engine option in the Altima is as efficient as the rather inefficient engine that the Versa is saddled with here in the states. And it's our own fault, because Americans are stereotyped as demanding more powerful engines without regard to fuel economy.
The new Jetta and Passat are no exceptions - they get more engine choices outside the US.
I simply don't agree with this at all. You're basically saying that the Altima's 4 banger is inefficient which couldn't be further from the truth. I can drive to Phoenix, AZ from San Diego, CA - a distance of ~500 miles - on half a tank. I don't call that inefficient at all, especially since I know for a fact that a Prius can't do that. Also the Versa's engine is a 2.0 which should be less powerful but in theory more efficient than the Altima, except for aerodynamics. It's just not. The only advantage the Versa has over the Altima is the interior roof trim - it really does cut wind noise better than the Altima. Beyond that, the Versa is an overpriced piece of crap, quite frankly.
But it's not all small cars in the US that suck. Honda and Acura have been making efficient small cars for years. I don't agree that the small car market is ignored - rather, it's not focused on. Diesel, in my opinion, is a failed market out here. Great concept, but there just isn't enough steam behind it. I applaud Volkswagen for trying. But the reality is that everyone has it wrong. The answer isn't petrol because it's limited, it isn't electric because capacity is at a premium, and it isn't hybrid because the cost is prohibitive. The answer lies in the very thing that surrounds us constantly. I'm afraid I just won't be alive to see people realize it.

Yea the last one was ridiculous, and crazy overpriced for what it was -the 4cyl was quoted around $30,000 and didn't have automatic *anything*, the seats felt like park benches, and it didn't have any of the nice interior features the 6cyl that cost 35+ did.
It had cool trunk hinges and tail lights, though. And that 2.0T is a neat engine (I'm sad they are launching the 2011 with a 2.5.. wtf?!)

You can just move them. By default they're installed to the Applications folder. Hopefully in future updates, App Store will allow the option where to install apps.

I have one of these (http://us.kensington.com/html/1743.html). I would like to trade it for one of these (http://us.kensington.com/html/5566.html). I'm not a big fan of mice with batteries and don't really need the wireless, so I was just wondering if someone would be willing to trade. Mouse is in excellent condition, barely used. It will be a straight up trade, no cash added on your end. :)

Can anyone help me with needed instructions , to pair my I phone contacts with my Bose Bluetooth System. The phone is paired, but I cannot get the contacts to load into Bose System. Thanks Brett
Sorry can't help, but I'm kinda shocked that Ferrari would use something as poor as Bose. Really nice car though.:)

Every time I see a blood drive my blood just boils... As an HIV negative gay man who is in a monogamous committed long term relationship with my partner, I doubt I am any more of a risk then any other heterosexual couple in a relationship, yet they don't see it that way....
Their loss..
I doubt you are either. I'm ineligible because I spent a week in Africa 6 months ago. I didn't sleep with anyone, and just spent all my time in an office doing economics research. The thing is, it's about getting as much blood as possible for the lowest cost (the cost comes in screening), and that is done by eliminating people in broad strokes, rather than on a case by case basis. Don't take it personally.

To me the rollover feature is my insurance plan. 450 isn't a lot, but the 1500 extra minutes in the bank allow me to not worry too much those months when I may call a little more than usual.
