Really? Quicktime is pretty amazing for professional filmmaking. The Quicktime X player sucks though.

Recently I've been having major problems with my Airport (PowerBook G4) -- a lot of stalls and stops when opening even the most basic webpages, can't download new software (although I did manage to download the latest airport update) -- it's almost as if I'm on dial-up. It's always run a bit slow, but lately it's just been unacceptable. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my provider. Does anyone here have any idea why this is happening?
My airport sucks, too. I noticed that when I ping -f it, I get about 27% packet loss consistently (this is pinging it from the wired network). I get 0% pinging my router or any other machine in the house. I've tried different network jacks but it's always the same with the airport. My signal strength is good, and I can regularly ping things. It's just I drop packets between the airport and the main router. It sucks.

I have a 5870 in my 2010 Mac Pro and every game runs perfectly with max settings at about 60-100 fps on my 27" Dell at 2560x1440.

I am bying the ipod 4 but love the iphone 4 form factor. I am not going to go out and buy and iphone so I was wondering what case would work with the ipod 4mto make it feel like the iphone 4.

Didn't work for me. I also see this on two different 10.7 installs. Using the keyboard shortcuts or the menu bar to arrange by still works just no right click.

Would moving the Finder preference file to your Desktop and starting help? If it's a Finder issue perhaps forcing Finder defaults may help?
Quick question, how did you install Lion? I'm asking as some people installed it over Snow Leopard and are running into issues. You can install it fresh by burning the dmg in Lion(DP1 or 2, doesn't matter but DP2 will be best)/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg to DVD or USB:

I finally updated to 4.2.1 and what a disappointment. I can no longer use my sd card connection kit. Says there is not enough power. I would not have updated if I knew this. Is there anyway around this? Software in Cydia possibly?

You forgot to add that the iMac has a much much much bigger screen which, besides everything else, is of much higher quality than than any MBA.
OP in every aspect the iMac is the better value for money - faster, bigger screen, more convenient even for trivial tasks like writing and browsing, let alone picture editing. You have to decide whether you need a laptop or a desktop.
I've decided to go for both, as it turned out I cannot give up the ergonomics of a desktop computer while at home.

If you really want to see something wild, put some mosquito larvae in with it. Dragonfly nymphs are predators, and they'll take small invertebrates like other insect larvae (especially mosquito "wigglers"), or even small vertebrates like tadpoles. You might have to move the wigglers in front of the nymph, but if the nymph attacks, you're in for a shocker.

It's not the number of Megapixels, but the sensor size. Jamming that many MPs into a tiny sensor will not give you a good camera

Cameraphones will always be a bit gimped purely because of their size and multifunction nature.
I had the 12MP SE Satio for a couple of months and it was good for a phone but my old 7MP compact camera with a better lens blew it away.
