Why would they put an HDMI port on it when they can just put the TB port on and then sell an adapter? Win-win for them.
You're forgetting that if the iMac user was shunting video to a big-screen TV via HDMI, the user might want to keep that port for that. Would leave the Thunderbolt port for other devices that they might want to keep plugged in without having to swap.

A 23" home theater screen? Umm.......
umm.. what? My wife and i already watch 99% of anything directly on our iMac G5 20". It looks great, no problem with the size. Of course our apartment is very small :)
as always more is better but less is still pretty good!

This update had best show up w/ an updated GPU (256 X1600 standard at least), otherwise the ~10% performance increase and other oddball tidbits is hardly worth it.
I'm starting to think I'm gonna sit this one out, as on the edge of my seat I have been for some time. But at this rate, goodness knows when the next update will be. Back to my TiBook I go.

So, the ipod touch 4G is my first iOS device, and I had a bunch of problems putting on the screen protector when I bought the Dermashot. So much in fact, that I ruined the protector. Not seeing any others for sale on the site, I emailed their customer service to inquire when they'd be on sale. They said "soon," but in the meantime they sent me two FREE ones! Love their customer support and the case looks great on mine. :D

I sort of support this, but as has been said before I think its time that America puts a heavier burden on allied nations to provide military assistance for UN resolutions.
America is constantly being blamed for policing the world and I think it is a criticism we often deserve.
But if the UN / international community is willing to allow/support the enforcement of a no fly zone. Than they should bear equal responsibility for the execution of the movement, the US shouldn't be providing 90% of the military support and funds.
This is being led by the UK and France... Obama has been dragging his feet.

The only sheep around this forum are the paranoid who are jumping on the media bandwagon about this non-story about a non-privacy issue. It isn't even news having been published, over a year ago, by more learned academics than the two attention seekers currently hogging the limelight.
This file has existed in every iPhone since day one, albeit under a different name, logs of where your mobile phone is are kept by every mobile phone company. Yet none of this seems to matter to anyone until these two, questionable academics, decide to publicise this as a "big brother is watching you' privacy story.
Away and graze in your field, we need more wool from you!

They could have simplified the whole process in the following way:

You assume that the method described here is/will be the ONLY way to do this.
How many different ways can you create a new folder on a hard drive? I can think of three without even trying.
I guess that's way easier than dragging it to the trash?
Dragging an application to the trash doesn't delete all the associated files littering your Library, or hidden files, or…

Heh. I used to use 98/99 until about a year ago. Fuel is just too expensive now. I know my golf's ECU adjusts the timing automatically depending on what octane level the fuel is. It shouldn't really matter.

I'm sorry, why is their target audience dwindling?It all comes down to how much extra you are willing to pay for the increased monitor specification. Most will pay 20% very few will pay 75%.

... I haven't seen many dvi's, it amazes me that most consumer monitors are still vga. price = quality when it comes to apple.Um where have you been looking. The competitors all use the exact same component as the Apple display even the same model number LCD from the same supplier the difference is the certification process the apple goes through for there color no difference in hardware just a procedure that is run. The fact is a year ago you paid $100 now your paying $300 for a the Apple display over a general consumer display. Apple may not have many competitors in the pro-color display market but they are still competing against the general consumer prices.
