I just bought a 20GB iPod and I need a travel case/pouch to carry the iPod and some accessories in. Does anyone have suggestions on a good one?

Rumor: 12 PB Solid State Drives coming next Tuesday?
Just wondering if anyone agrees. That amount of data isn't that big when you think about it..
It doesn't seem that much to me either. But that's probably because Apple will try to not have too many redundant files. But I don't know???

Sorry, that probably needs some explanation. In much the same way as "Turbo" was in the '80s, and "Power" was in the '90s, and "Extreme" is in the 2000's, "Yahoogolous" is the marketing-word of 2021. Nothing to do with the .com that took over Microsoft in 2015 though.

My sister gave me a zebra print toiletry bag (I travel a lot and asked for one) and the person who drew my name (my sister-in-law) gave me a big bottle of Asti champagne and two little bottles of Apple Brandy. In my family, people over 18 draw names and give a gift worth about $20 that starts with that year's letter. This year was "A". To make up for the lack of gifts, I bought myself a Kinect, Dance Central and a new mattress set :)

Nvm. figured out how to JB. However, once I got loader on there, i was unable to get it to download Cydia. It said I had no disc space, but I had just restored, so the iPod was empty. Hmm..

How do you know you will lose the rollover mins? Does it state this?
I'm changing my voice plan as well so yes it states that you can't bring over minutes in excess of what the new plans minutes are. So I'll transfer 450 and lose the rest.
If just changing your messaging package then no that won't effect your minutes.

I agree on the copying for own use. You should not be limited on something you have purchased. But you put 'profit' at the end of your 'list' that to me means you also sell the copies.

I have herd that apple will soon be making more updates on MBP changing the Looks of the existing macbook pro they jus released on 26th feb 2008. Is dat true? cuz i wna buy a MBP now but i dont knw if i shud cuz what if they change the looks in june? If anyone has any information please let me know..Thanks

How about getting two notifications. Try telling me what the first one was? That's right, you will have no clue. Try using Android or WebOS for about 10 minutes and you will realize how obtrusive and useless notifications are in iOS.

I bought an unlocked Pixi (what a weird phrase...) as my iPhone is on its last legs and I want to wait until the iPhone 5 before upgrading. It's hard to overstate how much better the notifications are than the iOS ones.

Well, the trial for the second suspect is going on today, and he's probably getting the death penalty!! The first suspect, steven hayes, was already sentenced to death a few months back. Anyone run into an issue with 4.31 where if they orient the phone sideways it
sometimes won't orient the display sideways unless you flip it over the other side?
I wonder if that's a bug since it never happened prior to 4.3.

Its going to take alot more than a Mail update to satisfy me... but its a start.
Yeah, with this previewing four months ahead of Macworld, I'd say we're headed for a major upgrade of .Mac with even tighter integration to Mail, iCal and iLife.
I still hope Mail and iCal will be collapsed into one app in Leopard.

When you take forever to get the phone on VZW you should expect people to take their time switching.
First, you've let Android have all that time to get a following because it's the only alternative for the lack of an iPhone. Those people have also bought apps that they now enjoy and would have to re-purchase on the iPhone. This happens with video game systems as well.
Second, people are in 2yr contracts. There are very few people who are willing to pay more for a phone they can buy 4 months later at half price on top of the termination fee.
Third, not that many people hate AT&T it's just the handful of VZW fans that make it look that way.
And finally you have the reporting and reviews. All the reports I saw were telling VZW people and potential switchers to hold off on getting the iPhone 4. No 4G, no white and still had the questionable signal issues. The "iPhone 5" was supposed to come out mid to late summer so people were concerned Apple would sell them a phone and then jump up 6 months later with the newer, thiner, better version and leave folks hanging.
People are paying attention to these reports and that's why I feel the numbers were low.

PAY AGAIN... AGAIN AND AGAIN... for minor upgrades.
I'd rather pay and get upgrades than have the developer abandon the app because it isn't profitable to do anymore free updates. What should Loren do when everyone that will buy Tweetie already has it? Develop updates out of the goodness of his heart?
The app store has a problem, and that's the amount of crap and cheapness of that crap. It drives the price of everything down. Factor in that ALL upgrades are free and you have a major problem for devs. You can sell an app once to each user, at next to nothing cost, and that's all you get. Yes, initially it's good when you're selling 100K apps a week but what happens when everyone's bought your app? The app store has a sustainability problem, and it will soon rear it's ugly head.
Compare it to desktop software where even the most basic apps cost $10+ and all upgrades are paid.
I'm quite happy to pay Loren �1.79 every 8-12 months for his work on Tweetie because frankly it's amazing and �1.79 is pretty much nothing.
The problem with most whambulance drivers such as yourself is pretty much the same problem with society at large. You only care about yourself and what you can get for yourself regardless if it's at the expense of others. You have no social responsibility. People's inability to look past their own nose and care about others is really quite pathetic. You don't care if Loren gets paid for his work, or for a sustainable app store. Rather you simply care for how cheaply you can get apps and updates. The self-centredness, the "me me me"-ness of society has become quite a problem IMO.
