I just DL'd the demo for Earth Worm Jim and it is awesome. I just wanted to give people a heads up that this was released in case anyone loved this game years ago. It has 4 player co-op but I'm not sure how it works.

This means the ip5 will be delayed at least 6 months. Big mistake Apple, the galaxy s2 will be in the market in 1 month, and the white model should have been launched 3 months after the black model, not now. Everybody is waiting for an update phone, not a "white coloured" one, with old hardware and same price. Bad movement, i'm afraid.

You'd be surprised how many people reluctantly put up with AT&T's abysmal service just so they can have an iPhone.

People like me, who really like the iPhone but consider AT&T unbearable, are using older generation unlocked iPhones on T-Mobile, which, despite any of its faults, is far superior to AT&T.

I'm looking forward to getting my Verizon iPhone. I'm saddened to be leaving T-Mobile (their customer service is excellent, and their pricing and optional services are top-notch), but Verizon offers better reception in my house.

But see you are not leaving AT&T now, you are leaving T-Mobile.

I've probably got the wrong end of the stick as usual, but I use the web access for iDisk that is already there - I haven't downloaded any applications at all for my work Windows laptop. Is this what you meant, or was there something else on top of this?Well kind of, but that's very limited. It doesn't support drag and drop, icon or column views, file previews, searching, .zip archiving and unarchiving, etc. In other words, all the goodies you get in a Finder window (including iDisk Finder windows). Using AJAX technologies, most of that should be possible, as they are doing for the Mail application. And as I said, making folders individually password-protectable (separate passwords, unlike now where it's one for the whole disk) is a priority for me.

I really like those apps too but they aren't free... $25 for Little Snitch and $50 for Dvd2OneX.... isn't this a "free" apps/tools thread? On Windows, i use DVDShrink which is similar to Dvd2OneX but completely freeware... anything like that for Mac? And Little snitch functionality is in many free firewall programs for windows (Zonealarm for instance)... any on Mac that are free?

yeah...sorry... silly me... i use dvd2onex and i didnt pay for it...must be a trial type of thing... as is little snitch....sorry about that...silly me

This is a great offer. But how about unlimited calls to any states in the US? I think it would be very good for a subscriber who wants to call anywhere in the US. thanks.
AT&T's cellular plans are already nationwide. Unless of course you want unlimited international plans which I don't think are ever going to happen.

Competition is a good thing. I'm on my third Twitter App right now, and this looks promising. I'm going to get this one and hopefully it will be better than the App I have right now. And hopefully competition will keep making the Apps better and better. :)

I'm on the 450 minute plan, and I have 1770 roll over minutes. I've stuck w/the 450 plan, mostly cus almost everyone I call is on AT&T (I switched from Verizon, and saved a boatload, since it's just me on the plan). In the 4 years I've been with AT&T, I've only ever gone into my roll over minutes *twice*. They always end up expiring on me.

Text messaging & the (grandfathered unlimited) data plan are far more valuable to me.
